Guilty of Treason

Cardinal Josef Mindszenty (Charles Bickford) takes a courageous stand against Hungarian Communists and is labeled a traitor by the brutal Stalinist regime. Sensing a tremendous story, American foreign correspondent Tom Kelly arrives in Budapest and meets Stephanie Varna (Bonita Granville), a Hungarian schoolteacher. She leads Tom to the Cardinal only days before he's thrown into prison. Directed by Felix E. Feist.
