German bakery worker Ecki (Maximilian Brückner) hasn't been playing the best soccer lately, and the guys on his local team have already put him on notice. But when they find out Ecki's big secret -- that he's gay -- they kick him off the squad for good. Determined to form his own team of gay players to kick the pants off his old teammates (figuratively, of course), Ecki rounds up a ragtag group that's going to need a lot of work to win the big game.
