Happy Anniversary -- Happy Anniversary is a 16-minute narrative fiction film that explores the dynamics, both cultural and personal, of an interracial relationship. It tells the story of Linda, an Asian woman, and her husband George, on a critical night in their lives.
No two marriages are alike. Behind closed doors, each couple experiences a reality that is unique to them, one that often differs sharply, and sometimes even disturbingly, from conventional notions of love and domesticity.
Delving beneath the surface of George and Linda's troubled marriage, Happy Anniversary seeks to challenge our notions of personal intimacy, and of cultural identity.
