Synopsis >

Based on the Twelve Labors of Hercules. In the ruins of an ancient Greek Palace, four marble busts magically come alive to tell a story that brings the ancient myth of Hercules and the mysteries of Mount Olympus to life. Although Hercules is unaware that his destiny is to become a great king, Hera, the most powerful goddess on Mount Olympus knows, and she wants that same position for her own son. Once Hercules is a young man and discovers that Zeus, the mighty God of thunder, is his father, Hera tricks Hercules into competing the Twelve Labors, twelve tests that are sure to destroy any man who attempts them. But Hercules is not just any man and with the help of Princess Arianna, who teaches him the value of reading, he survives every life-threatening test, growing stronger and wiser. Hercules learns through his tasks that living up to his destiny takes more than just physical strength; it takes wisdom and love.
