In this moving, heartfelt and at times deeply funny documentary, director Ken Wardrop enlists 70 Irish women, from the very young to the very old, to tell the tale of a lifelong love affair, capturing the unique way men and women interact over time. Wardrop reportedly took inspiration for his framework from his own mother, and filmed only women in order to create a view of the sexes, not in battle, but in struggle and in love.
