But the propeller failed, and Hughes crashed in Beverly Hills, destroying two homes. Sixty years later, a man in Wyoming wants to know if he really owns a part from this historic plane. Professor Lowe's Hot Air Balloon - Is a piece of fabric really from Prof. Lowe's Aeronautical balloon 'Enterprise' after it was destroyed upon landing in 1862? Could this be an artifact from the dawn of American military airpower?
