Hoffa

Jack Nicholson stars as the controversial union leader in this fictionalized account of the life of James R. Jimmy Hoffa. We see Hoffa's life through the eyes of his friend, Bobby Ciaro (Danny Devito, who also directed), from his early days during the Great Depression as he founded the Teamsters Union, to his rise to President of that union and his frequent clashes with President Roosevelt, through his battles with the Kennedys that ultimately landed him in prison, to his Presidential pardon by Richard Nixon and his mysterious disappearance in 1975. Oscar(R)-nominated for Best Makeup and Best Cinematography, HOFFA is a fascinating portrait of this enigmatic man.
