Based on a story by Phillip K. Dick and directed by Steven Spielberg, the film is set in Washington, D.C., in the year 2054. Policemen like Officer John Anderton (Tom Cruise) are able to prevent crimes before they're committed, thanks to advanced technology. But the tables are turned on Anderton and he finds himself hunted by a fellow Pre-Crimes officer (Colin Farrell) for a murder he hasn't committed, of a man he's never met. -
