Old school meets middle school in this feel-good family comedy starring Martin Lawrence as hotshot college basketball coach Roy McCormack. When Roy throws a very public temper tantrum and inadvertently "offs" a beloved mascot, he must redeem himself by taking over the coaching reins of a junior high school team. A volatile blend of unathletic misfits and streetwise thugs, the team seems a hopeless wreck. But under Roy's expert tutelage, the kids learn the value of friendship, discover a love of the game, and help Roy see that some things are more important than winning. -
