Anna Nicole Smith was born Vickie Lynn Hogan on November 28, 1967, in Huston, Texas. A high school dropout, she grew up in the small town of Mexia where she met her first husband, Billy Wayne Smith. The two gave birth to a son, Daniel; but the marriage couldn't be held together. Smith soon fled to Huston with Daniel, where she worked numerous jobs early on. While working at a strip club, Smith met Texas oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II. The two of them couldn't have been more different.
