Gable's last film was "The Misfits" (written by Arthur Miller and directed by John Huston). The film would prove to be Gable's swan song. Many critics regard Gable's performance in this, his final film, to be his finest. Gable died in Los Angeles in November, 1960 from his fourth heart attack. From "Biography: Clark Gable."
