George O'Grady (GEORGE CARLIN), a New York City taxi driver, tricks a blind man (DAVID PURDHAM) into overpaying. Unfortunately, the man is an undercover reporter for a tabloid television program, and he exposes George on the show. Because of George's notoriety, no one will ride with him. Later, the reporter returns to interview George. George tells him that he was only trying to collect money for his poor dog who needs an expensive operation. The reporter believes him and searches for someone else to expose. The reporter chooses Kenny the Crawdad, the mascot of a liquor company. This upsets Jack Donahue (ANTHONY STARKE), the bartender at the Moylan, George's favorite bar, who is trying to win a contest by selling a lot of that brand of liquor.
