Doug and Julie receive the translations of the first two letters between Santo DiMera and Colleen Brady. Julie reads the first letter to a rapt audience of Doug, John, Marlena, Bo and Hope. Meanwhile, Roman delivers copies to Sami and Lucas at the safe house. The story begins to unfold at an Irish church where Colleen is a novice. An unconscious Santo is brought in after an accidental blow to the head. Colleen tends to his wound, and when he awakens, he is struck by her beauty. Though Santo is clearly fascinated by her, Colleen puts up a good front of being immune to his worldly charms. He admits he's married with a son, Stefano.
