After being voted the best of their hood and defeating the competition Carlos Malbrew (Brooklyn Heights), Kareem Omary (Williamsburg), Glenn Ford (Bensonhurst), and Ian 'Cutless' McGillivray (Coney Island) battle to determine who will go head to head in the next round. Cutless (Coney Island) wins this round and selects to go up against Carlos (Brooklyn Heights); that leaves Kareem (Williamsburg) vs Glenn (Bensonhurst) to battle in the second round. Before the battle begins Sam and Jason select topics the contestants have to stick to during the battle. Wilmer introduces a jury comprised of the lead contestants that were defeated earlier in the week. Michael 'Reckless X' Theobalds (Bed Stuy), Pearson 'P-Money' Hinds (Flatbush), Thomas 'T-Skillz' Navarro (Bayridge), and Hollis 'HD' Stephenson (Sunset Park) select Glenn (Bensonhurst) and Cutless (Coney Island) to move onto the next round.
