Jeff (Moreland) dreams of joining the fraternity that his best friend Frankie (Darro) is a part of, along with being Captain of the rowing team. Frankie bets all the rowing team's girlfriends that they can win the big race, but when their best rower is drafted, Frankie concocts a plan to put Jeff in his place. Gale Storm, at the beginning of her career, sings three songs in the film. This was one of eight films pairing Frankie Darro and Mantan Moreland.
