An interview with James Dean on the set of "Rebel Without a Cause," the film that made him a cult icon. In 'Rebel Without a Cause,' Dean played Jim Stark, an inarticulate, frustrated, and misunderstood teenager struggling to make sense of the dangerous world around him. James Dean was a brilliant method actor who often improvised his lines, and his characters perfectly personified the restless, alienated, but idealistic youth of the 1950s.
