In this incisive indie about interfamilial conflict from IFC Films, retired schoolmaster Kishan Singh (Roshan Seth) has recently lost his wife. Feeling isolated after her passing, Kishan decides to travel to America from India, so that he can be with his busy son, Raj (Antony Zaki), a doctor, and his wife Laura (Carrie Preston). Both maintain high-profile careers, which leave them little time to spend with their young daughter Jenny. When Kishan steps foot in the apartment, tension mounts. While Kishan finds ways to criticize the moral platitudes and parenting of his son and daughter-in-law, an opposing case is made against Kishan for his poor manners, chauvinistic attitude, and "peculiar" habits. The difference between their values and lifestyles rises in this story of extended family struggling to live together. Winner of the audience award at the Florida Film Festival.
