John Buerlein (Jeremy Sisto, Law & Order) is the overworked, underpaid pastor at St. Mary Magdalene's Catholic Church. His quiet world turns upside down when a beautiful call girl, Linda (Kristin Chenoweth, Four Christmases) confesses that she is going to kill herself on her birthday, in less than a month. In search of this mysterious woman, John is drawn into a dark labyrinth of the city's sex shops, peep shows and brothels.
