Jump Tomorrow

A light, droll romantic comedy, Jump Tomorrow, directed by Joel Hopkins, is a thoroughly modern look at love that pays humble homage to the great screwball tradition of race-to-the-altar comedies. This indie comedy from IFC stars the wonderfully deadpan Tunde Adebimpe as George, a shy and awkward introvert whose button-downed, bespectacled appearance pretty much sums him up. In three days, he is scheduled to marry Sophie (Abiola Wendy Abrams), the lovely Nigerian girl his family has selected to be his wife. Everything has been arranged and the staid George, never one to make trouble, is ready to go along. But when he arrives at the airport a day late to meet his bride-to-be, he instead meets two people who cause him suddenly to question his destiny.
