With her mom Maggie's fancy new retirement home bill and the growing wine bill, Kathy is forced to take a stand up gig in Anchorage, Alaska. This visit gives her a chance to visit her hunky man-boy-toy escort, Levi Johnston, in his natural habitat. Kathy is invited to host the big pre-race event at the Musher's Annual Banquet, a 2000-seat dinner and big money auction. Later, things get competitive when Kathy and Levi do a dual bookstore signing together.
