When the war on the streets becomes personal, no one is safe. Guzman, a small-time drug lord, takes on Giovanni, the biggest Mafia boss in L.A., igniting a war. The war takes its toll. Guzman's nephew is one of those killed. In revenge, Guzman orders a hit on Giovanni's daughter Carla. While she shops, her bodyguards are gunned down. Before Guzman's men can get to her, Quinn, a suspended undercover police officer, who is window shopping, witnesses the attack. He rescues her with his martial arts fighting.
The police offer Quinn his badge back if he agrees to work undercover for Carla's dad. Quinn accepts and becomes Carla's bodyguard, eventually falling in love with each other. Vinny, Giovanni's ruthless right-hand man, who has the hots for Carla, walks into her room and attacks her so Giovani kicks him out of the family.
In revenge, Vinny goes to work for Guzman and they both agree to eliminate Giovani and take over the drug business in L.A., but on one condition - that Carla is to be untouched and become Vinny's property. Vinny's men on the inside arrange for the hit on Giovani's mansion. the hit goes as planned with Guzman capturing Giovani and executing him. When Guzman points his gun on Carla, Vinny's men gun him down, leaving Vinny in charge of both gangs.
Vinny kidnaps Carla. Quinn finds out what happened, and he goes after Vinny and his men to rescue Carla. at the end, it becomes a showdown between Vinny and Quinn.
Quinn conquers, leaving Vinny in his blown-out car. Quinn and Carla live happily ever after.
