Stockbroker Todd Hauser (guest star Graham Outerbridge) dies in an emergency room after experiencing stomach pains, which was thought to be the result of what he ate for lunch. Massive internal bruising is determined as the cause of death leading detectives Lupo (Jeremy Sisto) and Bernard (Anthony Bernard) to uncover the victim's involvement in organized street fighting. The detectives struggle to find a helpful witness and usable evidence.
