Going against the advice of Mom and his agent Steve, Ryan decides to bring all of his friends, and new girl Julia, to the X-games in LA. Even before the qualifying round, Ryan gets in an argument with Julia over the phone. Then Ryan is torn between hanging out with his buddies and prepping for the most important competition of the year. Girlfriend trouble, entourage chaos, and two injuries all prove to be minor distractions compared to drama with dad at a time when Ryan needs his family's support the most.
