July 7th 2005 saw four British Muslim suicide bombers attack the London transport network, killing 52 and wounding more than 700. The bombings threw a spotlight on Britain's diverse Muslim community. Muslims condemned the events of 7/7 but at the same time many wanted to express deep anger at the UK's military involvement in the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
