The FBI sends detective Charlie Congers to Switzerland to bring Jackie Pruitt, the mistress of mob boss Joe Bomposa, safely home. Upon meeting Jackie, Congers falls in love with her and he discovers that she knows nothing incriminating about Bomposa. However, the mob thinks otherwise, and kills her. As a result, the grieving, vengeful Congers attempts to mete out his own brand of deadly justice against the mafia.
