Disney's eighth animated feature is a 10-part collection of Fantasia-like musical shorts and some classic Silly Symphonies. Among the highlights are Peter and the Wolf, narrated by Sterling Holloway, and the classic Casey at the Bat. Live-action ballet dancers are featured in Two Sihouettes, and dancing instruments boogie to Benny Goodman's After You've Gone. (The segment The Martins and the Coys involves gunplay and was removed.)
