Man in the Middle

During World War II, military attorney Lt. Col. Barney Adams (Robert Mitchum) must determine if an American soldier (Keenan Wynn) is competent to stand trial after murdering a British officer. Adams soon finds himself in a political pressure cooker as tensions between the American and British allies grow. Based on Howard Fast's novel &NFi;The Winston Affair&NFi_;, this tense crime drama co-stars France Nuyen, Barry Sullivan, Trevor Howard and Sam Wanamaker.
