At Extreme Tech, a new kilobot named Blakbeetle endures a grueling trial to prove her worth to Kam. When she passes the test, Blakbeetle is undeniably excited and relieved. Could it be she has emotions? Ikki and Metabee find an unlikely ally in Ginkai, who is no stranger to being unpopular. On his advice, they continue to robattle, accepting a challenge from Kintora and Minitora. But their robattle in a deserted stadium turns out to be a trap. With the help of Zumi, Erika frantically searches for proof of Ikki and Metabees innocence. They discover a time discrepancy in the televised footage. Erika and Miss Nae race to the stadium and use its TV facilities to broadcast their proof. The entire city watches Ikki and Metabee battle fairly against overwhelming odds until Blakbeetle appears and ends the conflict. Blakbeetle promises Metabee they will meet again.
