Devastated and blaming herself for the tragic deaths of her parents, Jamie Ellison finds solace in humanitarian work building houses for Hurricane Katrina victims. After checking into a mental health treatment facility after her parents' death, she is finally on stable ground when she meets the seemingly perfect Michael Radcliffe.
