In GADGET KID, Mr. Bean is at the science museum when he runs into a young Japanese boy. They accidentally switch stuffed animals, and it is only later that the boy remedies the problem. Bean and his young new friend play with static electricity, photographs, video games, a remote control blimp, a Walkman, scooters, and finally a rocket simulator all of which drive the museum guard to distraction. In THE VISITOR, a large man who Bean doesn't recognize shows up at his door, claiming to be an old friend. Only when he pulls out an old group picture does Mr. Bean have any recollection of who he is. By that time, the visitor has already eaten everything in Bean's apartment. He even eats in his sleep. Bean tries a number of schemes to rid himself of this old friend, even going so far as to try and lure him into a taxi with a turkey on a string. Mr. Bean's final plan is, curiously, to take the man out to an expensive dinner.
