Fran ois (Daniel Auteuil) may be rich and have everything, but he has no best friend. After telling a story at dinner about a funeral he attended where only a handful of people turned up, his colleagues suggest that nobody would come to his funeral. So, there is a bet made that he cannot find a best friend in 10 days.
