My Pal Trigger

When horse trader Roy Rogers suggests mating his mare with the stallion Golden Sovereign, owner Gabby Kendrick (George Gabby Hayes) refuses. A rival breeder (Jack Holt) then tries to rustle the steed, but the horses escape and he mistakenly kills Sovereign ... and Rogers gets blamed. The cowboy flees with his mare, later returning to Kendrick's ranch with a foal named Trigger -- and a chance to clear his name.
