Nathan's Uncle Cooper (MICHAEL TRUCCO - Pensacola: Wings of Gold) visits Tree Hill to take Nathan and Lucas on an auto racing trip. On the track, Nathan and Lucas are challenged to a contest by beautiful Daytona (SCHUYLER FISK - Orange County) and her obnoxious brother Garrett (STUART LAFFERTY, series star JAMES LAFFERTY's real-life brother), but things go horribly wrong when Nathan loses control of his car and crashes into a wall. Meanwhile, Deb's addiction to pain pills intensifies, and Dan exposes Andy's (recurring guest star KIEREN HUTCHISON) relationship with Karen to Andy's class.
