In 2001, Pharrell and partner Chard Hugo were named Producers of the Year at both The Source Awards and the Billboard Music Awards, 2004 had him walking away with two Grammy Awards: one for Producer of the Year and the other Best Pop Vocal Album for he and Chad's work on Justin Timberlake's No.2 Billboard hit Justified.
