Popeye and Bluto vie with each other over caring for Swee'pea while Olive visits the beauty parlor. They have orders that he is to be bathed, fed and put to bed. Olive returns to a surprising situation. / A modern Stanley and Livingston saga, with Popeye going to Darkest Africa to rescue his pal, Dr. Bluto. After untold hardships, the sailor reaches his friend, only to find the eminent doctor cavorting happily with native beauties. / Popeye tries to get a job as a movie stunt man by showing studio executives movies of some of his most daring exploits. But Swee'pea switches reels in the projection room begins showing his own stunts, which make Popeye?s pale by comparison. Swee'pea wins the job.
