Renegade cop and bounty hunter Reno Raines (LOREN20 LAMAS) trails a fugitive, John Digger Sharp (TIM WRIGHTMAN), to an oceanside restaurant. When he tries to arrest him, Reno is clubbed by Avalon Jones (CYNDI PASS), a waitress. Reno awakens in Avalon's motel room, handcuffed to a bed. She suspects Reno of being a cop, but he tells her that his employers, Bobby Sixkiller (BRANSCOMBE RICHMOND) and Cheyenne Phillips (KATHLEEN KINMONT), will verify his identity. Avalon holds Reno for ransom. Recognizing Avalon as rival bounty hunter Denise Dead End Dennison, Bobby and Cheyenne pay the money. They deduce that she was also trailing Digger but don't know why she didn'tarrest him.
