Following the tried-and-true formula of previous Tex Ritter Westerns, the singing cowboy returns to help a settler in need -- this time, beleaguered cattle rancher Gospel Moody (Hobart Bosworth). Flanked by his trusty sidekicks (Horace Murphy and Snub Pollard), Tex goes up against a meddling sheep farmer (Charles King) and belts out Old West ballads such as Me, My Pal and My Pony and the title track, Rollin' Plains.
