As Ruby continues to lose weight, she worries that her efforts will be derailed by all of the food temptations around the holidays. With Thanksgiving around the corner, she challenges herself and her friends to prepare two different Thanksgiving dinners--a traditional meal with all the trimmings and another meal with healthier alternatives. Ruby's therapist lends her support by paying her a home visit to evaluate her environment, and Ruby's friends become defensive when Dr. Jane says they may have been enablers in Ruby's struggle with weight. On Thanksgiving day, Ruby finds herself surrounded by delicious and fattening foods, and allows herself to have a little taste of each dish--but will she be able to control herself once she starts? Or will she fall back into her old habits?
