A Hong Kong cop goes to America to rescue the daughter of a Chinese diplomat. But the FBI wants none of his help, so they recruit a fast-talking LAPD detective to babysit him. The action gives way to laughs as cultures clash and tempers flare, but the two must join forces to catch the criminals -- if they don't kill each other first.
