Rossi throws a party to celebrate the VMA win and picks up their option for a second album. At the party, Kaya is confronted by Gunnar who explains he has feelings for her, but Kaya can only think about Taylor. Still upset about the VMAs, Natalee ignores Kaya s apologies and Don makes a side deal for Kaya to release a single on another label. To make matters worse, Kaya receives a surprise visit from someone from her past.

Kaya records a duet with Lil B (of the Pack) under a new label and the new label s president, offers her a deal that will launch a solo career. Meanwhile, the band finds out that their tour has been cancelled. When both Gunnar and Taylor profess their feelings for her, Kaya has more than a few decisions to make. Who will she choose?

The band's frustration with T finally comes to a head with T quitting in anger and Kaya makes her first national TV appearance. Her hard partying leaves her too hung over to hit a high note, but to make up for the poor press she receives from the performance, Kaya decides to make a surprise appearance at her former high school.

After hearing that Rossi killed the album, the band heads to Vegas for some R & R, but their holiday is cut short, when Rossi calls the band back to the studio to fix the album and insists they record on his terms. When the band's single is leaked to a local DJ and becomes an overnight sensation, Rossi is angry and tries to find the source of the leak. Meanwhile, Gunnar learns about Kaya's one night stand with Taylor.

At a spa, Kaya meets her rock idol, Ileana, and the two become fast friends until Ileana commits the ultimate act of betrayal. In celebration of the band's new album, Rossi throws a release party and Kaya confronts Ileana. After the party, Taylor and Kaya decide to go on a date, but their plan is thwarted when they get into a horrific accident.
