Things are in chaos at Miami Ink. To put things back on track, Ami gets onboard with Nunez's plan for a new shop, and Darren's surprise return from an extended trip adds tot eh good vibe. On the downside, they're still missing and artist and they need a new shop manager. Garver travels to Costa Rica to convince their old friend Tim Hendricks to join Miami Ink, and Ami and Nunez try to convince Baby Dre, a Moroccan lesbian, to head back to Miami from LA to manage the shop. Amidst the chaos, one artist comes down with a nasty skin condition; a mysterious odor overtakes the shop; the gang goes on a road tripl and some face major life changes. In between the craziness, the doors are open for business. Clients include a dominatrix, a vet who lost both legs in battle, a man who lost his wife and unborn child to cancer, and a runaway bride who's looking to mark her new life.

They've brought Kat in full time to help handle the growing clientele and Yoji has graduated to tattooing on a regular basis.
