Season Three Finale. Scott and Stonebridge come face-to-face with a new key player in Al-Zuhari's plan. As the timetable for the attack accelerates, the team resorts to questionable measures, sparking conflict within the unit.
Scott and Stonebridge aim to keep their promise to protect Ester. After questioning a suspect from the raid on the facility, Richmond and Martinez follow an Al-Zuhari associate, gaining key intel. Believing an attack is imminent, the team sets out to stop an infiltrator before he reaches a populated area.
Scott looks for an escape from Black Bear Prison, while Locke becomes suspicious of Kamali. The team races to locate Stonebridge, whose condition grows more dire when he encounters Al-Zuhari's plan firsthand. Continuing his vendetta, Ulyanov closes in on Scott and Stonebridge.
Posing as drug runners, Scott and Stonebridge imbed themselves in a Russian prison in order to prevent an expert computer hacker facing extradition to the U.S., from breaching the firewalls to the NATO hard drive seized by MacKenna. The job proves formidable, as Stonebridge is unable to keep his focus at a pivotal moment.
Captured by his worst enemies, Locke considers whether to exchange key information for the name of the terrorist who killed his young son years ago. Meanwhile, Scott and Stonebridge follow their last lead--a prominent Budapest businessman with ties to al-Zuhari--in an attempt to track down MacKenna and the weapons intended for an imminent al-Zuhari strike.
Section 20 sets up shop in Budapest, where the apprehension of an ex-IRA gunrunner leads to a shocking discovery: a planned al-Zuhari attack. Fighting the clock, the team looks to thwart a weapons heist orchestrated by MacKenna at a railway depot, but is undermined by Stonebridge's inability to focus at a critical moment. Meanwhile, Scott is rattled by a Dalton revelation.
Ends 12/31/13. 'Episode 24.' Stonebridge, Scott, Richmond and Martinez stage a daring rescue mission after Leatherby takes Kamali's daughter Ester hostage. Meanwhile, on Locke's orders, Kamali tracks down Dalton, who's in the process of interrogating Sofia--the 'package' Leatherby picked up at the airstrip--for information about al-Zuhari.
Ends 12/31/13. 'Episode 23.' In Beirut, Kamali wins Scott and Stonebridge's trust by leading them to James Leatherby, an ex-SAS mercenary who's planning to smuggle al-Zuhari into the city. Threatening someone close to Leatherby with exposure and disgrace, Dalton learns the time and place of Leatherby's pickup--but is al-Zuhari the package?
Ends 12/31/13. 'Episode 22.' Scott, Stonebridge and the rest of the team survive a relentless assault from Miguel Gomez, but at a price--Kamali has escaped to Bogata. To find out where he's hiding, S-20 orchestrates a brazen heist after kidnapping Miguel's brother Raoul. In Beirut, a close encounter leads Dalton to a onetime MI6 operative who is privy to al-Zuhari's dark plans.
Ends 12/31/13. 'Episode 21.' (Season Three Premiere) A shocking death in Beirut cuts short Scott and Stonebridge's vacation, and they head to Colombia in search of Leo Kamali, the apparent financier behind a Mideast terrorist group run by the elusive al-Zuhari. Joined by Richmond and imbedded DEA agent Kim Martinez, Scott and Stonebridge look to grab Kamali during a big meeting.
Season Two Finale. Scott questions Bryant about her role in Knox's plan and appeals to her for help, but Scott's dark past may dictate his course of action. Stonebridge attempts to focus on the mission, but is consumed by thoughts of revenge. South African police team up with Section 20 to find the nukes and Knox before he can carry out his plan.
Now a wanted man, Knox (Charles Dance) hatches a plan for the nuclear bombs that involves several African nations plagued by political unrest and unstable militia factions. When the transport for one of the nukes is recognized at the scene of a crime, Stonebridge (Philip Winchester) and Scott (Sullivan Stapleton) mount a dangerous pursuit. Dalton (Rhona Mitra) confronts Christy Bryant (Stephanie Vogt) about the CIA's dealings in Africa. Matlock (Vincent Regan) reveals his true motives behind joining Knox to Hanson (Shane Taylor), who continues to be a major distraction for Stonebridge.
As Stonebridge attempts to protect an assassin from an angry mob, Scott, trying to convince Lilian of Knox's intentions, fends off a Hanson attack. When Stonebridge is taken hostage by Matlock, Section 20 is forced to arrange a prisoner exchange. Encouraged by Knox to lead her party, Lilian delivers a press-conference bombshell that leaves Knox fuming--and Section 20 on the doorstep of the triggers.
After Walter Lutulu, leader of the Party for a Democratic Zimbabwe, is freed from prison, Scott and Stonebridge track Lutulu's activist daughter Lilian in an attempt to get closer to their nemesis, Knox. Instead, the Section 20 crib is raided by Dreyer, with deadly consequences. Meanwhile, Lutulu's allegiance wavers when he learns about his liberator's real motives.
With Evans conscripted to work for Knox, Stonebridge sees an opportunity to locate the facility by connecting with Knox's idealistic daughter Ava. Scott tries to convince a Mossad assassin to follow her conscience and disappear, while Hanson parlays his unique skills into a new job. After Scott, Richmond and Baxter foil a weapons diversion scheme, police respond by trying to shut down Section 20.
On the trail of the missing triggers, Section 20 relocates to Cape Town, where Knox's henchmen hope to force an expatriate nuclear expert, Peter Evans, to cooperate by kidnapping his daughter and her son. Looking to break a stalemate when Evans is taken into custody by Stonebridge and Dalton, Scott attempts to turn a Knox insider: former Delta Force mate Curtis Roe. A soccer-stadium set-up morphs into a mad pursuit through Cape Town--with Stonebridge detoured by a familiar face.
