In this age of reality TV, this amusing modern comedy introduces us to Samy (Ricardo Darin; El Hijo De La Novia, Nominated Best Foreign Film 2002). He is a writer, adapting all his neuroses into a script for his weekly TV show in Argentina, although he has not yet quit his dream job of writing the novel he has been promising himself for a long time. However, things are not going well as he approaches his 40th birthday. Samy decides to leave everything aside, the show, his family obligations and even his own shadow which seems to overwhelm him. Just when Samy thinks his self-esteem cannot stoop any lower, in comes Mary (Angie Cepeda, Pantaleon y Las Visitadoras), a bombshell with a tornado-like personality, who's about to change the situation into a success story, with a hidden secret.
