Dana recreates his McLaughlin in this special Halloween edition. All the guests are in costume; Chris Farley (Jack Germond), Phil (Pat Buchanan), Mike (Fred Barnes), Kevin (Morton Kondacke). Dana, dressed in an elaborate grim reaper outfit, leads the discussion, and becomes progressively more frenetic until, all of a sudden, he dies. The real John McLaughlin enters, takes Dana's place, and energetically continues the discussion.
