Scooby ditches Shaggy and the gang and gets the red carpet treatment in Tinseltown as a star of Westerns, musicals and comedies, with spoofs on such 1970s TV staples as Happy Days, The Love Boat and Laverne and Shirley. But back at the Mystery Machine, the gang misses their favorite mutt -- and just when things are at their bleakest, Scooby proves that he is indeed one incredible best friend you can count on.
