Separate Lies

On the surface, married couple Anne (Emily Watson) and James (Tom Wilkinson) have a seemingly perfect relationship. But James's blindness toward his wealthy wife's growing dissatisfaction drives her into the arms of another (Rupert Everett). When Anne and her lover are involved in a tragic accident, the ensuing investigation places husband and wife in a situation that tests the limits of their already precarious marriage.
