September Affair

When they are mistakenly listed among the dead on a flight that crashes en route to Rome, married businessman David Lawrence (Joseph Cotten) and classical pianist Marianne Stuart (Joan Fontaine) jettison their old identities and start life anew together in Italy. But the real world keeps nipping at their heels -- including David's wife (Jessica Tandy) who discovers that her presumed-dead hubby is still alive. William Dieterle directs this drama.
