Neil Nathan's folky version of ELO and The Move's Do Ya is featured on the Californication Season 2 Soundtrack alongside Sheryl Crow, Nick Cave, and Warren Zevon. Jeff Lynne had to approve Neil's version and loved it. Directed by Brian Goodwin, the video is an alluring meditation on the search for true love. Do Ya is the lead single off Nathan's covers EP, Songsmiths. Produced by long time steel collaborator Mike 'Slo-Mo' Brenner (Slo-Mo, Marah, Jason Molina), it features unique, low-fi arrangements to the Small Faces All or Nothing, and Beethoven's Fur Elise, among others.
