Two streetwise undercover cops in 1975,David Starsky (Ben Stiller) and Ken Hutch Hutchinson (Owen Wilson), bust drug criminals with the help of underworld player, Huggy Bear. The movie functions as a sort of prequel to the TV series, as it portrays when Starsky was first partnered with Hutchinson.
