Laurie?s psychology teacher, Professor Stark, shows up unexpectedly claiming he wants to help her get back in school. Both Red and Kitty are overjoyed with the idea. However, Eric is the jubilant one when he finds Laurie and Stark kissing in the garage. Jackie is mystified by Kelso?s outraged reaction to the news about Laurie and the professor, and Kelso can?t adequately explain his behavior. Hyde moves into the Forman?s basement, telling Eric this is his chance to burst Red?s bubble about his slutty sister. Eric can?t find the nerve, but does torment Laurie at dinner by saying that he saw something interesting in the garage. Stark spills the beans himself, confessing to the Formans that he?s in love with their daughter.
